Building & Stabilizing a Production n8n MVP

This project involved building and stabilizing an n8n workflow intended for real production use, not experimentation.

The requirement was strict: the workflow had to generate machine-readable emails with deterministic formatting, because downstream systems depended on exact field structure. Any inconsistency would break automation.

I reviewed how data flowed through the workflow, how n8n handled formatting internally, and where small changes could cause unpredictable output in real executions.

I implemented a deterministic output format, removed anything that could collapse or reorder fields and validated the workflow end-to-end using real deliveries. I then focused on stabilization ensuring the workflow behaved the same way across restarts and repeated runs.

The result was a production-ready MVP that met the exact scope requested without over-engineering or introducing unnecessary risk.

Cloud VPS Backup, Storage & Cost Optimization (AWS)

This work involved a production VPS setup backed by AWS storage, where data safety, backup reliability and long-term cost control were critical.

Because the system already contained important production data, the work could not be treated as a simple cleanup or migration.

I reviewed the VPS backup flow, how data was stored in AWS and how retention was handled over time. Backups were accumulating without lifecycle rules aligned to real recovery needs.

I designed and applied carefully scoped lifecycle policies that preserved recoverability while optimizing storage usage gradually, validating retention behavior to ensure accessibility was not impacted.

The outcome was a safer, more predictable backup setup that reduced cost without disrupting live systems.

Production Server Security & Reliability Hardening

This engagement focused on improving the security and reliability of a live production server exposed to the internet.

The concern was not a single failure, but repeated unauthorized access attempts and insufficient defensive controls at the host and network level.

I configured and tuned Fail2ban to block abusive patterns, applied iptables rules to restrict unnecessary exposure and reduced attack surface without breaking legitimate traffic.

All changes were applied incrementally and validated under real operating conditions to ensure stability was preserved while improving security posture.

The result was a more resilient server with reduced operational and security risk.

Google Workspace Custom Domain & Email Deliverability Setup

This project involved configuring Google Workspace for a custom domain where reliable email delivery was essential for day-to-day business communication.

I audited the domain’s DNS configuration, corrected authentication alignment and ensured the setup was properly validated end-to-end.

The final result was a clean, correctly authenticated email setup that businesses can rely on for consistent delivery.
